De Hut Olive Farm and Nursery is nestled on the Breede River in the beautiful valley of Scherpenheuwel (a valley few have yet discovered), between Worcester and Robertson in the Western Cape.

De Hut has 11 hectares of well-established olive trees producing award-winning, artisan olive oil.

The farm was established by a keen fisherman who had bought 300 metres of river frontage to satisfy his hobby.  The river frontage came with 13 hectares of virgin land that were developed solely for olive cultivation and are now producing some of the finest olives in the Cape.

De Hut was one of the first farms in the area to cultivate and propagate olives and has supplied trees to olive growers throughout the Western Cape, Gauteng and Botswana.
